Purpose
Accentra Credit Union supports our members, their families and our communities in a variety of ways. Accentra Credit Union is dedicated to helping our members pursue additional education by providing a $500 scholarship.
Eligibility
Applicants must be a member of Accentra Credit Union and have an account in his/her name. You are eligible for membership with Accentra Credit Union if you live, work, go to school, or worship in Dodge, Fillmore, Freeborn, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Steele or Winona counties.
Applicants must be applying to or be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program at a college, university or vocational/technical institution during the fall semester of 2025. Traditional students, high school seniors about to begin college, or non-traditional students, adults returning to school, may apply.
Recipients of the Assurance Scholarship attending Riverland Community College are not eligible for this scholarship.
Accentra employees, members of the Board of Directors, and their family members of the same household are not eligible.
Selection
A Scholarship Committee made up of staff members will select the scholarship recipient. The decision of the committee is final and not subject to review. The scholarship recipient will be notified.
Applicants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Academic Achievement
- Financial Need
- School & Community Involvement
- Employment
- Overall presentation of self in application

Deadline to submit applications is Tuesday, April 1st, 2025. Any applications received after this date will not be considered.
